Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira, born in Campinas Sao Paulo on May 26 in 1978. She was in Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009) and A Indomada (2000). Ana Paula Oliveira was appointed as a member of The Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime by March 2020. She is the current manager of the Assassination Witness Project and is a key member of the multilateral GI-TOC engagement. The GI-TOC's research activities are focused on assassinations, disappearances and various forms of violence that occur in the framework of illicit economics. Her main research areas are the impact of organized crime on human rights as well as humanitarian law and policy. Ana Paula has an LL.M. Cum laude (with an honors grade) with honors International Law from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva. Additionally, she holds an LL.M in Public Law and an MBA in International Relations through Fundacao Getulio Vargas in Rio de Janeiro. Ana Paula is a graduate of The Federal University of Rio de Janeiro with the degree of magnacum laude with a degree in Legal and Social Sciences. Her legal experience includes four years of practice with a firm specializing in the area of public law litigation. Her previous experience includes has been employed in non-government organizations based within Rio de Janeiro as well as Geneva.
