Shawnee was born in New York City, and is an American performer and actress. Shawnee has starred in many horror films, earning the title "scream-queen". Also, she is well-known as a character in Stephen King's The Stand. She has made several guest appearances in television series such as 'Cagney & Lacey Married With Kids and 'Murder, She Wrote' as well as the 'Players. She toured Europe and America in the punk/metal "Fydolla H' band in the 2000s. In the early 2000s, she was part of Smith & Pyle a country-rock desert band' with Missi Pyle. Their debut album was named It's OK to Be Happy and was recorded in Joshua Tree. Due to the busyness of their acting career and personal lives, the band broke up. Shawnee is able to play a range of instruments like drums, the piano, and guitar. She was also vocalist in the solo soundtrack to 'Catacombs.
