
Leona Louise (born on April 3, 1986) is a British musician, actress active, activist, and actress. Her birthplace and childhood was in London Borough of Islington and took classes at Croydon's BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology. Lewis was able to gain not only national recognition when she took home The X-Factor's third series in 2006. In addition, she received an PS1 million recording contract with Syco Music. Lewis kept her momentum going by releasing Spirit Her first studio album. The album was platinum 10x accredited in the UK. Spirit became one of the top four albums sold in 2000s, and also one of the top-selling UK albums. According to the Official Charts Company claims that Spirit was the 21st-century's best-selling female debut album. Its single "Bleeding Love" continued to be at the top of UK chart for seven weeks, and was one of the best-selling singles in 2007. The single was the top-selling in 2008 as well. Lewis was awarded an award for her work, the Billboard Award for Best New Artist. She released Echo in the year 2009 and recorded "I Have You" as the theme song. In the year 2011, Lewis released the single "Collide" which was a collaboration together with Swedish DJ Avicii along with her first extended show, Hurt: The EP. The third album she released, Glassheart (2012), marked a new creative direction for Lewis who draws in dubstep as well as electronic music. Lewis began recording music for her Christmas debut album in the course of her Glassheart Tour, which took during the middle of 2013. In the following year, Christmas with Love with Love, featuring the title track "One more time" came in at number three in the UK. Lewis who is who is a British female solo artist, was the first British solo artist to break the Top Five with eight singles. The record is higher than Olivia Newton John's record which was seven.
